What is a smart home?>
Customers do our best marketing, and here’s why...
Customers say the nicest things!.
Steven did a great job developing and installing a complete turnkey smarthome solution. And by complete, I mean it’s the most advanced home in Michigan and maybe the U.S. It includes Lutron lighting/HVAC automation, Leviton security and automation, whole home Sonos audio, mesh wireless throughout the house, LED color changing lighting, a complete gigabit home network, it’s hard to list it all. It even modifies the pool and hot tub temperatures when I arm the security system. He is also very conscious of budgets and does what he says he’s going to do. I highly recommend him and would let anyone see my house to inspect his work.
Nest thermostats have come a long way since they were first introduced and they can help more people save money now. We are a Nest Pro and may products come with a free extended warranty if we install it after buying it from us.
One of the nicest new features is it's ability to detect no one is home based on no connected cell phones being in the area. This way it can automatically adjust to an away temperature in case you forget!
Garage Door Control
Some newer system have integrated a proprietary system for control of their systems, but many still allow us to use a third party controller that attaches to the remote control wires on the system. This model will beep and flash a light warning you if the automation system is causing the door to open or close.
In many cases I use switches that can control multiple scenes so they can do more than one thing. The switch has the normal on/off, but you can also double click and hold down the switches to control something else. This could be turning on A/V equipment, an outside light from inside or even turning off all the lights on the floor on in the house.
If you have multiple switches to control a single light we need to use a companion switch that allows for similar control. Depending on the wiring, an electrician may be needed
Schlage, Kwikset and Yale all make Z-wave compatible door locks. These are not Bluetooth locks, and I usually don't recommend them if they only require your phone to be near by to open as anyone who can get your phone can now access your house without accessing the phone. With the Z-wave locks it does give a little more security.
There are many times that we don't want to run speaker wires in a room or we do want to play music throughout the house. With multiple speaker options including soundbars, rear speakers and subwoofers we can help you with your wireless speaker needs.
Motion detectors can be used to turn on lights in your house. This can help make sure lights are not left on when no one is in a room. At night it can turn on a light while you move in the house and you don't have to worry about turning it off.
